Welcome!
Healing is rooted in connection — feeling truly seen, meaningfully belonging to community, and living in alignment with one's personal values. With two decades of experience working in schools, I have developed an understanding of how the systems we live in (our families, schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods) shape us. I bring that understanding into the therapy room.
My approach to therapy is grounded in person-centered principles and a belief in your innate ability to grow. Together, we work to create meaningful change so you can live more fully in alignment with what you value most. This work draws on a variety of evidence-based approaches including ACT, CBT, trauma-informed, solution-focused, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, breath work, movement, and play. As a long-time yoga practitioner, I bring a somatic awareness to the therapy room, attending to how experiences live in the body as much as the mind.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, and grief and loss. I also offer couples counseling and parent consultation to support parents in understanding and responding to their children's needs. Approaching mental health with cultural humility, I am open and affirming of individuals of every background, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion, and ability.
I currently practice as a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) under the supervision of Dr. Maria Vinca. In addition to my clinical training, I am a Certified PK-12 School Counselor and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200).
