Our licensed psychologists, licensed social workers and licensed professional counselors provide individual, couples and group psychotherapy for ages 14 and up. Specific information for each clinician can be found on the left menu.

SCPS is a preferred provider of Aetna, Highmark, many of the programs

within the Blue Cross and Blue Shield system, Geisinger and UPMC.

We are not paneled with Capital BLUE.

 

We are an out-of-network group for UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Student Resources, and can still submit claims to UHC. This is a common insurance for graduate students. Please check your out-of-network coverage (deductible and co-pay).

In the ever-changing world of insurance coverage and specific plans (e.g., Standard, HMO, PPO), please directly verify with your insurance company that SCPS is indeed a preferred provider - i.e., is paneled with your company.

 

If you schedule with a therapist, please let them know if you have two insurances (a primary and a secondary insurance).

SCPS is on the CATA bus route, and has free parking

and a covered bicycle rack.
